Gearldine Garrett

Gearldine Garrett age 72 of Jonesville, VA was born April 12, 1949 in Oklahoma and passed away August 24, 2021 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN. She was a homemaker and attended Corner Stone Baptist Church on Sugar Run.  She loved doing crafts, baking and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Evelyn Freeman and one brother Floyd Freeman. Gearldine is survived by one son Douglas Ray Fannin and Denise Glass of Jonesville, VA, one daughter Evelyn Pease and husband, Randy of Dryden, VA, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother Lawrence Freeman and wife, Mildred of Stickleyville, VA, two sisters Diane Dickerson of Kingsport, TN and Mary Lynn Curry of Odessa, TX.

Gearldine Garrett will be cremated with a memorial service at a later date. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.provincefuneralhome.com.
