Henry B Mullins

Henry B. Mullins age 76 of Jonesville, VA was born January 22, 1944 in Harlan County, KY and went to be with the Lord December 28, 2020.

He was of the Baptist Faith and a member of McConnell Chapel Church and was a former Police Officer.

He enjoyed his family  and friends.  He loved to fish and talk, he never met a stranger.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years Nancy Standifer Mullins. Daughter Melissa Mullins Hale and son Matthew Mullins (Chasity Howard) all of Jonesville, VA and Honorary son Buddy Davis. Grandchildren Caleb (Brittany)  Mullins, Ashton (Justin) Warner, Chase (Shelby) Mullins, William Johnson and Hunter Mullins.  Great-grandchildren Audrina, Izaia, Jonah, Bentley, Josiah, Ford, Anna, Atalie, Lyric, and baby River. He is also survived by his brothers Tony (Gail) Mullins, Steve (Donna) Sweeney, Howard Sweeney (Vanita), Danny Sweeney, Jerry (Darlene) Sweeney, David Sweeney and a sister Judy (Bill) Cody.

He was preceded in death by his parents Rosco Mullins and Birdie Collins Mullins Sweeney.

Special aunt Hattie Mullins Pace Malicoat. Brothers Gene Mullins, Earl Mullins, Harold Mullins, Bill Mullins and Dennis Sweeney and a sister Ruth Mullins.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 12:00 noon Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Mc’Connell Chapel Baptist Church in Jonesville, VA.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday with Steve Neff and Jason Saylor officiating.

Burial will follow at Woodard Cemetery in Jonesville, VA.

Pall Bearers will be Jeff Carnes, Casey Standifer, Christopher Standifer, James Standifer, Paul Gilliam and Daniel Sweeney.
