James Ray Calton

James Ray Calton, age 63, born April 5, 1956, went to be with his Lord on March 13, 2020 at Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, VA.

James is preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Iwilda Calton; two brothers Charles Calton and Gene Allen  “Marshall” Calton; his wife Ella Faye Calton; his son Timothy Ray Calton.

James is survived by his wife Cindy Calton of the home; two daughters Elishea Calton of Pucketts Creek and Mindy Calton of Hickory Flats Community; a best friend and son-in-law Tim McBee; two brothers Jessie Calton of Pennington Gap, VA and Sammy Carnes of St. Charles, VA; two sisters Georgia Carnes of Pennington Gap, VA and Margie Ramey of Weber City, VA;  three grandsons Austin Calton, Logan Langley and Landon Langley; four granddaughters Haley Lachey Farmer, Missy Makayla Farmer, Hannah Faye Laws and Sadie Elishabeth Ray Laws; his uncle Guy Calton of Woodway, VA.

Visitation for James will be from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Monday, March 16, 2020 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA.  A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2020 with Pastor Mark Tabor officiating. Graveside services will be Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Anderson Cemetery in Keokee, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home to proceed to the cemetery.
