Jerry Napier

Jerry Napier, age 67 of Ben Hur, VA was born on Sunday, March 30, 1951 in the Stone Creek Community of Pennington Gap, VA and passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN. Jerry loved His family and grandchildren, 4-wheeling, fishing and his little dog, Sam. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Bernice Napier; one brother, Harold "Hulie" Napier and one grandson, Todd Chadwik Napier. Jerry is survived by his wife of 46 years, Darlene Napier of the home; one son, Chad Napier and wife Kennie of Ben Hur, VA and one daughter, Paige Ward and husband William "Skeeter" of the Stickleyville Community of Pennington Gap, VA; three grandchildren, Dillon Napier, Shelby and Charlie Ward; three sisters, Jenny Jones and husband Bruce of the Hickory Flatts Community of Pennington Gap, VA; Lois May and husband Harold of Pennington Gap, VA and Mae Nida and husband John of Pennington Gap, VA; also several nieces, nephews, a host of other relatives and friends and a special friend, Jack Huff.

Funeral services will be held at 8:00 P.M. Monday, June 18, 2018 in the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap, VA with Rev. Paul Davis Jr. and Rev. Russell McCoy officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. Monday until time of services. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the Powell Valley Cemetery in Dryden, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday to go to the cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
