Jerry Wayne Robbins, of Woodway, Virginia, was born in Harlan, Kentucky, on July 14, 1951, and passed away at his home surrounded by his family, on Monday, March 28, 2022, at the age of 70 years old. He was a retired coal miner and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Robbins, and his mother and father-in-law, Freesia and Elmer Moore of Maness, Virginia. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of almost 50 years, Regena; his son Jeremy Shane and wife, Missy; his two daughters, Jennie, and Shannon (Bates) and husband, David; and six grandkids: Chris, Joshua, Kayleigh (Fiance Bam Rowden) Alex, Abby, and Jonathan. Jerry is also survived by his mother, Frances Robbins; a sister, Freda Robbins; sisters-in-law, Brenda Ewing and Barbara Ridings; brother-in-law, Bill Moore; and several nieces, nephews, other family members and some close friends. A memorial service will be held at a future date.
