My sympathies to the family of Jewell Davis. She was a friend! I will always remember her dedication to the Speaks Chapel United Methodist Church. Without her efforts this little church would have been closed many years ago. I'll be forever grateful to Jewell for the part she played in keeping things going at Speaks Chapel.
