Jimmy Dale Pillion

Jimmy Pillion age 70 of Ewing, VA was born February 1, 1950 in Rose Hill, VA and passed away April 16, 2020 in Knoxville, TN. He loved his walk in the woods, loved his fruit trees and bees and loved to fish. He also loved his dog Duke, his family and his church family at Powell Valley Church of God. He was preceded in death by his parents Pat and Bonnie Pillion, sisters Beverly Scott, Sylvia Pillion and Diane Pillion.

Jimmy is survived by his wife Mary Pillion of the home, daughter Amanda Pillion of Ewing, VA, Angela Carmony of Rose Hill, VA and fiance, Lawrence Pitts of Midway, TN, one brother Tommy Pillion and wife, Linette of DeKolb, IL and his grandchildren Ivy Coker and husband, George of Junction City, KS, Ryan Carmony, Lukus Carmony and Bo Carmony all of Rose Hill, VA.

Friends may come by from 4:00 to 6:00 PM Sunday, April 19, 2020 at Province Funeral Home in Jonesville, VA to sign the guest book and viewing. Due to Covid-19 regulations only ten people at a time inside or outside the funeral home. A private graveside service will be held at the Old Campbell Cemetery in Rose Hill, VA.
