Johnny Bishop

Johnny Bishop age 65 of Pennington Gap, VA was born in Norton, VA on February 5, 1957 and passed away April 29 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Bonnie Bishop, three brothers Brad Bishop, Hubert Bishop and Ellis Bishop. Johnny is survived by his sons Josh Bishop and wife, Litzie of Pennington Gap, VA, Chad Bishop and wife, Kristy of Pennington Gap, VA, Seth Bishop and Fiance Jess of Pennington Gap, VA, Keaton Bishop and wife, Jordan of Pennington Gap, VA, grandchildren Tanner Bishop, Keaston Bishop, Taylor Bishop, Grady Bishop, Adaleigh Bishop, Kendall Bishop, and Hudson Bishop whom he loved very much. He is also survived by four sisters Ruth Ann Bishop of Knoxville, TN, Gaye Huff and husband, Eugene of Olinger, VA, Helen Bishop of Jasper, VA and Nancy Fletcher and husband, Sam of Pattonsville, VA.
 

Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday with Jackie Fraiser and Gary Gilliam officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at the Bishop Family Cemetery on Skaggs Hill in Pennington Gap, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:30 AM Thursday to go to the cemetery.
