A true American Patriot, devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather, took pride in being a Marine. Joseph Michael Freeman, 59 10/22/1961 6/18/2021 Took his last ride June 18 into the pearly gates of Heaven. After leaving the Marines, he became an Aerospace welder. He moved to Lee County 9 years ago. He had a passion for tattooing, woodworking, and blacksmithing.
He leaves behind his wife Tammy Renea Freeman and his children Todd Bradley (Debra) Freeman, Ariel Freeman (David), Brittany Freeman (Bryson), Laura Luna (Josh), Chalisa Sistrunk (James), JoAnna Gaeta (Jeff), Rachael Pickering, his grandchildren, Lydia Jones, Johnny Luna, Deacon Luna, Layla Luna, Aveya Freeman, Adalynn Freeman, Bentlee Sistrunk, Kanyin Sistrunk, Adrian Crowther and McKenna Crowther, one brother Brad Freeman and one sister Pamela Freeman, numerous nieces, nephews and a multitude of friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother Arlene Elizabeth Freeman, his father Roger Freeman and all of his grandparents.
At his request he will be cremated.
