Joseph Lester Tritt

Joseph Lester Tritt age 68 of Pennington Gap, VA was born March 8, 1952 and passed away March 6, 2021 at his home.

He was a retired coal miner and had worked from 1974 until 2015.

He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Cornie Tritt, two sisters Leatrice Rusk and Geneva Grim, two brothers Curtis Tritt and Luther Tritt.

Joseph is survived by his wife of 47 years Helen Tritt of the home, three sons Barry Tritt and wife, Flossie of Pennington Gap, VA, Chris Tritt and wife, Jennifer of Dryden, VA, Rodney Tritt and wife, Melissa of Pennington Gap, VA, one daughter Chanda Tritt of Pennington Gap, VA, grandchildren  Arielle Tritt, Brookelynn Burgan, Chelsea Tritt, Zoey Mitchell, Shyla Tritt, Blake Tritt, Evan Tritt and Paisley Tritt.  He is also survived by two sisters Betty Mitchell and husband, Frank of Covington, KY and Eliza Jane McKnight and husband, Bev of Cincinnati, OH.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at St. Charles First Baptist Church from 5:00 until 7:00 PM with Paul Davis, Jr. officiating. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to St. Charles First Baptist Church or the Tritt Family.
