Kermit Alvin Stiltner age 79 of Jonesville, VA was born November 11, 1940 in Grundy, VA and passed away August 13, 2020 at Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, TN.
He was a Veteran of the US Air Force and a retired coal miner. Kermit attended Union Christian Church. He was a racing enthusiast but most of all loved his grandchildren and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jackson and Kentucky Stiltner, brothers Irvin, James and Ray Stiltner.
Kermit is survived by his wife Goldie Stiltner of the home, one daughter Elizabeth Wagner and husband, Jack of Bristol, VA, three sons David Stiltner and wife, Glenda of Jonesville, VA, Robert Stiltner and wife, Brenda of Bluff City, TN, Steven Stiltner and wife, Lacy of Jonesville, VA, grandchildren Joshua Stiltner, Madeylyn Stiltner, BJ Stiltner, Catherine Grace Stiltner, Connor Green, Cordell Carrier, Joseph Carrier, Lillian Stiltner, Matthew Stiltner, Jack Wagner IV, Dana Williams and numerous great-grandchildren. Kermit is also survived by his sisters Christine Chick, Mabel Brown, Virginia McClanahan and husband, William, Martha Boyd and husband, Jim, Shirley Brown, Mary Matney and husband, Randy, Lois Sparks, Carolyn Buchanan and husband, CB, brothers Ronnie Stiltner and wife, Sherrie, Clyde Stiltner and wife, Diane, Johnny Stiltner and wife, Debbie, Dennis Stiltner and wife, Lou, Daniel Stiltner and wife, Debbie.
A funeral service will be held at 8:00 pm Monday, August 17, 2020 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA with Pastor Bryan Allen officiating.
Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until the time of the service on Monday.
A graveside service will be at 1:00 pm Tuesday at Russell Memorial Cemetery in Lebanon, VA with Pastor Larry Muncy officiating.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 12:45 pm Tuesday for the service.
