Kevin Wayne Yeary

Kevin Wayne Yeary age 41 of Pennington Gap, VA was born November 4, 1979 in Big Stone Gap, VA and passed away July 27, 2021 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN.

He was a member of the Woodway Church of God where he played bass. Kevin enjoyed being a coach and watching his children play sports. He was a proud member of  the mine rescue team of Virginia and an avid MMA fighter where he won many championships. He was also an owner of AlterFit Gym, but he was most known for being a loving husband, father and friend.

He was preceded in death by one brother Matthew “Chico” Yeary and his grandparents Rev. Bradley and Wanda Yeary, Jackie Lasley and a brother-in-law Maxwell Setler. Kevin is survived by his wife Crystal Yeary, one son Darrien Yeary and one daughter Sybella Yeary all of the home, parents Larry and Shirley Yeary of Pennington Gap, VA, mother-in-law Donna Holmes of Stickleyville, VA, one brother Andrew “Burrito” Yeary and wife, Dee of Pennington Gap, VA, one brother-in-law Michael Setler and wife, Lauren of Pennington Gap, VA, special sister-in-law Kristy Kilbourne and husband Jacob, several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Friday, July 30, 2021 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. Rev. Cliff Ely will be officiating a family burial. Pall Bearers will be Jason Laster, Jamie Clark, Michael Helton, Travis Fee, Casey Collins, Jeremy Hensley, David Hensley and Justin Hill.
