Larry A. Alford, 74, of Jonesville, VA, joined his beautiful, loving wife, B. Louise and their infant daughter, Karen in heaven on Friday, December 18, 2020. He was born in West Virginia and worked as a truck driver, mechanic and school bus driver. He was an avid hunter, loved riding motorcycles and restoring his classic cars.
He is survived by two daughters, Kristal L. Mungo and husband, Richard, of Marshall, VA, Lora A. Buckler and husband, Philip, of Nokesville, VA, 2 sons L. Scott Alford and Steven C. Alford both of Jonesville, VA. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, one sister, Rosalie Howard of Ohio and many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
He was also preceded by death by his parents William and Barbara Alford, two brothers, Jimmy Alford and Jerry Alford, and one sister, Diane Cooper. He will be laid to rest at Red Hill Cemetery in Pennington Gap, VA. Until we meet again at God’s Golden Gates, remember we love you.Now go wait by the mailbox.
Due to covid-19 state regulations, those attending the visitation and funeral are asked to wear masks/facial covering. Social distancing guidelines will also be in place.
