Larry P. Flanary

Larry P. Flanary, age 75 of St. Charles, VA was born April 8, 1945 in Lee County, VA and passed away on a Saturday, July 12, 2020 in Kingsport, TN.  Larry was a lifelong resident of Lee County, VA and was of the Baptist Faith. 

He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Cary Flanary, son Chris Flanary,  infant son Roy Flanary, parents Hearl and Mae Flanary, siblings Marie Winsby, Samuel H. Flanary, Chester Flanary, Leonard Flanary, Bobby Jack Flanary, Jerry D. Flanary, Eddie Ray Flanary, and Harry H. Flanary.

He is survived by two daughters Lori Olinger and the late Robert Olinger of Pennington Gap, VA, Danyell Cain and husband, Tim of Kingsport, TN, one son Richard Flanary and wife, Lori Stapleton of Pucketts Creek, VA, granddaughters Christa Murphy and husband, David of Richmond, KY, Ashley Burchett and husband, Michael of St. Charles, VA,  whom Larry helped raise, sisters Donna Parsons of Woodway, VA, Jessee Wade of Woodway, VA and Dora Lee of Big Stone Gap, VA and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren , nieces and nephews and his special friend Sammy Carnes.

At the Larry’s request he wanted no service and a private burial will be held at a later date. Special thank you to Restore of Life. Province Funeral Homes are honored to be serving the family of Larry P. Flanary.
