Lora Lynn Parsons

Lora Lynn Parsons, age 51, of Jonesville, VA was born May 24, 1968 in Pennington Gap, VA and passed away at her home on May 17, 2020 in Jonesville, VA. She was preceded in death by her father Franklin Cochran and one sister Karen Jill Crabtree. Lora is survived by her mother Glenda Janice Cochran; her children Ashley Chasteen of Dryden, VA, Matthew Stidham (Whitney) of Jonesville, VA, Dee Gentry (Matt) of Kingsport, TN and Zach Parsons of Kingsport, TN; seven grandchildren Hunter, Chaz, Jayden, Jayce, Easton, Grayson, and Ella Rae; one brother Mark Cochran of Jonesville, VA; one sister Lisa Muncy (Johnny) of Jonesville, VA; a special uncle Gary Britt; a special friend Mark Tester and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at Victory Freewill Baptist Church in Jonesville, VA. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday with Pastor Shawn Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA.
