Mae (Napier) Nida

Mae Napier Nida, 63, was born on October 31, 1955 in Pennington Gap, VA and went home to be with the Lord on August 14, 2019. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a homemaker and worked at the Family Dollar and later went to work at KCG Call Centers. Mae loved to be a round her family and friends. She was of the Baptist faith.

Mae is proceeded in death by her loving husband John Nida; her parents Paul and Bernice Napier; two brothers Jerry and Harold "Huleo" Napier; mother and father-in-law Lee and Lizzie Nida; brother-in-laws James Rober and Bill and Burl Nida; sister-in-laws Annie Ingle and Louise Allen.

She is survived by her son Matthew Nida and wife Brittany; her pride and joy, granddaughter, Madi Nida; 2 sisters Lois May and husband Harold "Willie", Jenny and husband Bruce; Sister-in- laws Darlene Napier, Belva Young, Nora Fitts, Patty Minor and Claudia Nida. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 Friday with Pastor Paul Davis, Jr. officiating. A graveside service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at Powell Valley Cemetery in Dryden, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 AM Saturday to go to the cemetery.
