Margaret Taylor Short

Margaret Taylor Short, age 53, of Rose Hill, VA was born May 6, 1967 and passed away June 30, 2020 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN.

She was of the Holiness Faith and a member of the Souls Harber Holiness Church.  She loved her family, grandchildren, crafts and cooking.

She was preceded in death by her parents General and Martha Taylor; three sisters Karen Johnson, Bonnie Whitman and Barbara Seabolt; two brothers Jerry Taylor and Tommy Taylor.

Margaret is survived by her husband Jeff W. Short of the home; two daughters Misty McLamb and husband, Jonathan of Rose Hill, VA, Tiffany Graves and husband, Eric of Rose Hill, VA; four grandchildren Logan McLamb, McKenzie McLamb, Brayden Graves and Olivia Graves; three brothers Alford Taylor and wife, Beverly of Rose Hill, VA, Norman Taylor of Coeburn, VA and Jay Taylor of Greensboro, KY; three sisters Judy Stewart of Ewing, VA, Rose Short and husband, John of Rose Hill, VA, Mary Taylor of Rose Hill, VA and one sister-in-law Angie Taylor.

Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Friday, July 3, 2020 at Trinity Tabernacle in Ewing, VA. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM with Gary Grubbs and Richard Long officiating. A graveside service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at Old Arthurs Chapel Catron Cemetery on Poor Valley Road in Rose Hill, VA.
