Minnie "Maude" Smith was born on January 30, 1941 in Blackwater, Va. She gained her eternal wings on December 2, 2022. Although little, she was one of the strongest her family has ever seen. She had experienced hard times, lost two sons, and had many more trials people had never known about because she didn't want anyone to worry. She was a God loving, prayer warrior, friend, lover of family, flowers, pictures, and her laugh was contagious. She was one of the kindest, hardworking and most loving woman you would ever meet. Her family's hearts are simply broken. Maude was preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Linda Williams, her first husband Ennis Davis, two sons Larry and Carl "Chig" Davis, one grandchild Tabitha Davis, one brother Lester Williams and one brother-in-law Wavel Esteppe. She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years Joe Ray Smith. It was on their anniversary that God called Maude home. She is also survived by her children Gary "Wayne" and Robin Davis of Keokee, VA, Patsy and Dale Miller of Keokee, VA. Stevie "Tootie" and Michele Davis of Robbins Chapel, and one special grandson/son Donald Wayne and Kendra Davis of Rogersville, Tn.
