Patsy Bernice Scalf

Patsy Bernice Scalf age 81 of St. Charles, VA was born Saturday, October 8, 1938 in St. Charles and passed away Friday, January 17, 2020 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband James Burdine Scalf, parents James and Alice Bryson, three brothers Johnny Harold Bryson, Jimmy Darrell Bryson, Roger Dale Bryson and one sister Shirley Bryson Jones. Patsy is survived by two sons James B. Scalf, Jr. and wife, Robin and Phillip Douglas Scalf all of St. Charles, VA, two daughters Robin Cox of Woodway, VA, Cindy Scalf and fiance, Jonathan Baker of St. Charles, VA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, two brothers Goley Bryson and wife, Janice of St. Charles, VA, Dickie Bryson of Pennington Gap, VA, two sisters Charlotte Blevins of St. Charles, VA, Charmie Murphy of Pennington Gap, VA, special friend Bill Taylor and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Monday, January 20, 2020 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday with Pastor Charles Scalf officiating. Burial will follow at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA.
