Peggy Sue Garrett

Peggy Sue Garrett left this life to be with our Lord and Savior on January 2, 2021.  She was born February 9, 1943 in Lee County, VA where she lived most of her life. Peggy was a born again Christian and held strong to her faith in Jesus Christ. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Auburn and Mae Burgin, son Patrick David Garrett, Father of her children A.W. Garrett, brother James Burgin and several half brothers and sisters. Peggy is survived by one son Dennis Garrett and companion Tenna Christian, three grand-daughters Crystal Phillips and husband Perry, Della Christian and husband Jeffery, and Rebecca McMahon and husband Wayne, three great-grandchildren Aaron Stapleton, Cheyenne Sluss, and Andrew Phillips. She is also survived by one sister Betty King and companion James of Pennington Gap, VA and a host of family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA with ____________? Officiating . Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM Thursday until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Powell Valley Cemetery in Dryden, VA. Family and friends will service as pallbearers.
