Phyllis Ann Kempton

Phyllis Ann Kempton age 78 of St. Charles, VA was born in St. Charles on Saturday, November 9, 1940 and passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband Clement Kempton, one daughter Diane Kempton, a granddaughter Lindsey Fleenor, parents Curtis and Ruth Ricker and a special niece Amanda Rogers. Phyllis is survived by one son Dale Kempton of Pennington Gap, VA, three daughters Linda Fleenor and husband, Jim of Jonesville, VA, Tammy Kempton of St. Charles, VA and Angie Kempton of Jonesville, VA, eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three brothers Phillip Ricker and wife, Brenda, Tommy Ricker and wife, Jeannie, Danny Ricker and wife, Sharon all of Rogersville, TN, two sisters Sue Chandler of Waldorf, MD, Lucy Rogers and husband, Barry of Pennington, Gap, special friend to her and her family Jack Morefield, many niece, nephews and a host of many other family and friends.

Visitation will be from 12:00 until 2:00 PM Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA.A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM with Pastor Roy Webb officiating.
