Robert "Mike" Hartsock

Robert (Mike) Hartsock age 58 of Pennington Gap, VA was born December 5, 1962 in Pennington Gap, VA and passed away on May 3, 2021 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN.  Mike was of the Pentecostal Faith.  He worked with Phillips Tree Experts for many years. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Gene and Mindy (Ellie) Hartsock, sister Wilma Stapleton, brother Robert Hartsock and maternal grandparents Lawrence and Mae Castle, paternal grandparents Nathan and Bertha Hartsock. Mike is survived by one daughter Jennifer (Andrew) Hartsock, two sons Robert and Michael Hartsock all of Pennington Gap, VA, seven grandchildren Hayden, Mariela, Margaret (Mia) Hartsock, Jarrett Hartsock, Connor Freeman, Lashay McCoy, and Jacob Terry, five brothers Darrell (Audrey), Ricky (Sarah), Matthew (Brenda), Lester (Dorothy) and Donald all of Pennington Gap, VA and a host of aunts and uncles and special friend Diane Ferguson. 

Visitation will be from 12:00 until 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 with burial to follow at Rasnic Cemetery in Stickleyville, VA. Province Funeral Home of 42098 E.
