After the passing of her husband, Ruby moved to Florida to be near her Caregiver daughter, Belinda, until recent years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Ralph George Ely, two sisters, Trilla Anderson and Nadine Nelms, a brother, Ted Lee Edwards, grandson, Steven D. Ely, and a great granddaughter, Victoria Love Houston.
