Sharon Ann (Spiller) Cochran

Sharon Ann (Spiller) Cochran born May 18, 1944 and passed away peacefully on October 6, 2021 at her home.  Sharon grew up in Dayton, Ohio and attended schools in Dayton. Sharon enjoyed many cooking shows and trying new recipes.  Sometimes these creations created laughter at the dinner table.    Sharon worked as a Senior Mortgage Loan Processor for a mortgage company in the suburbs of Chicago, till her retirement in the 1990’s.  During her retirement she enjoyed watching her grandkids grow up and hanging out in the stands at their games.  Never a dull moment with the grandkids.  Later in life, she earned the title of Great Grandma.  She truly enjoyed every minute with the little ones. Those who knew Sharon knew she loved to talk and share stories. 

 Sharon is proceeded in death by her husband of 58 years, Cecil Cochran. Her Sister Donna Feltner and her parents Ralph and Dorothy Spiller. Sharon is survived by 2 Children, Michael (Lisa) Cochran, Pennington Gap, VA and Michelle (Robert) Labicki of Lexington, KY 5 Grandchildren.  Colton Cochran, Pennington Gap, VA, Allyson (Melvin) Martin, Pennington Gap, VA, Curtis Labicki, Lexington, KY, Bryan Labicki, Lexington, KY and Cheyenne (Jared) Guerrero of Texas. 5 Great-Grandchildren. Caden, Xzavier, Carli, Arabella and Beckett, all of Pennington Gap VA.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation in Sharon’s name to Cancer Research.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.provincefuneralhome.com.
