Mr. Timothy Joseph Blevins

Timothy Joseph Blevins, 61, of Pennington Gap went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at his residence. He was born on September 21, 1961 to the late Willis and Polly Asher Blevins in Illinois.

Timothy was an underground coal miner for over 21 years. He was a loving husband, beloved father, caring uncle, and great friend to so many.

Timothy is preceded in death by his parents; brother Willis Clayton Blevins; sisters, Glenda "Cat" Blevins, Mary Lou Blevins, and Linda Gail Runyon.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 39 years, Freesia Lavelma Ridings Blevins; daughter, Brandie Nicole Blevins; brother, William Boyd "Tom" Blevins; sisters, Wilma Barnette, Wanda Blevins, Jennifer Caldwell, Paula Blevins, and Cynthia Howard; along with a host of beloved nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Friday, April 28, 2023 at Pennington Gap Funeral Home.
