Walter Curtis Thomas (Curt)

Walter Curtis Thomas (Curt), 88 of Keokee, VA October 11, 1933--October 24, 2021 Curt was born on October 11, 1933 and received his ultimate healing as he peacefully went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 24, 2021. Curt was a friend to all and will especially be remembered for his kindness. He loved everyone and never had a negative word to say. Curt was the most patient, loving person you could ever have the pleasure to know. He loved the Lord and lived his life in a way that showed it. Curt graduated high school in 1952 and enlisted in the United States Air Force the same year. He dedicated 20 years of his life serving his beloved country before retiring in 1972. Curt is preceded in death by his parents; Raymond and Zella Thomas; brothers, Johnny and Pat Joe Thoms, and sister Judy May. He is survived by his sisters; Jackie Goode, Brenda Kilgore and husband Ronnie, Carol Komeylian, and Tillie Aguiar and husband Tony; brother, Gary Thomas and wife Belinda, and several nieces and nephews. Curt was a bonus papaw to his great nieces and nephew; Cami, Cadence, Keegan and Conner Johnson. They were his world.

A celebration of life with family and close friends will be held Friday, October 29 at 5:00 PM at Beacon Light church in St. Charles.
