Wilfred Daniel Parsons

Wilfred Daniel Parsons age 71 of  Jonesville, VA was born August 18, 1950 in Pennington Gap, VA  and passed away August 16, 2021 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents Pearl and Dorothy Parsons, and a brother-in-law Bob Barnette. Wilfred is survived by his wife Carolyn Parsons of the home, one daughter Dorothy Joann Parsons of Stickleyville, VA, one son Wilfred Parsons, II and wife, Leslie of Jonesville, VA, grandchildren Joshua and Lucas Parsons and Savannah Cochran, four brothers Delmer Parsons and wife, Marie, Jerry Parsons and wife, Glenda, Verlin Parsons and wife, Shirley and Pearl Parsons and wife, Debbie, four sisters Eulayla Barnette, Arbradella Risden and husband, Bruce, Jaquata Ward and husband, Ran and Sara Fultz and husband, Chad, many nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Free Pentecostal Church of God on Pucketts Creek. A funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Saturday with Jimmy Ewing, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA.
