William Lee Clark

William Lee Clark age 89 of Keokee, VA was born on July 6, 1931 and passed away peacefully September 20, 2020 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN with his children by his side.

He had been a coal miner at Westmoreland Coal Co. and a member of the Local #1405.

He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Ann (Bailey) Clark, parents Virgil and Ethel (Clay) Clark, one brother Harold Clark and two sisters Carolyn Clark and Shirley Reynolds.

William is survived two daughters Hilda (Kenny) McMahan, Melissa Philips, two sons Billy (Delorce) Clark, Jimmy Ray (Marie) Clark, nineteen grandchildren Angie Clark, Scottie Clark, Tabitha Endean and Jason Clark, Kristin Phillips, Keith Phillips, and Travis Phillips, Chris Clark, Amy Aistrop, Jackie Scardo, Misty Shuler, Gary Wayne Craft and Terry Craft, Trey, Skylar and Nyia McMahan, nine great-grandchildren Haley and Raven McMahan, Brianna Twigg, Cody Maggard, Raechel and Ryan Clark, Madison and Jordan Shular, Logan Clark, McKenzie and Jacob Scardo, one great-great-granddaughter Adalynn Twigg, six sisters Dorothy Wilson, Mildred Robinson, Nancy Guthrie, Norma Mahuron, Mary Ann Soliday, Debbie Chipman and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Powell Valley Cemetery in Dryden, VA with Pastor Paul Davis, Jr. officiating.

Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 12:00 noon to go to the cemetery.
