Benny Lee Pauley

Benny Lee Pauley left this earth on Sunday, August 2, 2015 to go to a better home in Heaven. He was born October 2, 1957 in Harlan, KY; the son of Cilus Arthur (Bud) and Ruth Marie Pauley. He had lived most of his adult life in Rose Hill in Lee County, VA. He was a self-employed truck driver since 1988 and was leased to Rush Trucking when he became ill. He was a loving husband, loyal friend and a hard worker. He was saved on July 29, 2015 and Baptized on August 1st by Carlos Wolfe. His loving family and true friends showed how caring and loved he was all thru his last days. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cilus Arthur (Bud) and Ruth Marie Wires Pauley; grandma Mae Wires; sister Sandra; brother-in-law Thomas Clouse; father-in-law Harold Greer and stillborn daughter Robin Amanda. He leaves behind his loving wife of 39 years, Reda Faye Greer Pauley; his brother Eddie Pauley and wife Sandra of Ewing, VA; sisters Rose Wilson and husband Cotton of Taylor, MI; Chris Carroll and husband John of Rose Hill, VA; Peggy Clouse of Rose Hill, VA; Linda Young of Rose Hill, VA; Erica Brooks and husband Tommy of Tazewell, TN; his mother-in-law Thelma Greer of Rose Hill, VA; sister-in-law Lisa Ray of Rose Hill, VA and brother-in-law Larry Greer of Ewing, VA.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 5, 2015 in the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Jonesville, VA with Rev. Carlos Wolfe and Tom Lakins officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. Wednesday until time of services. At his request, Benny will be cremated and his ashes spread at the Haley, Pauley and Greer home place cemeteries.
