Betty Rhea Livesay age 87 of Pennington Gap, VA was born in Twinton, TN on Friday, February 17, 1928 and passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015 at the Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, VA. She had been a homemaker, loving wife, mother and friend. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church, a former G.A. leader and an inspiration to many young women. Betty was an artist and loved to travel. She was preceded in death by her parents Ed and Gladys Stout, her brother Jack Stout, her sister Lorraine Stout Litton and son-in-law Billy Arwood. Betty is survived by her husband of 70 years Arthur Lane Livesay of the home, son Jerry Livesay of San Diego, CA, daughter Yvonne Arwood of Pennington Gap, VA, three grandchildren Chris Livesay of New Mexico, Elizabeth Arwood and Savannah Arwood both of Nashville, TN and her brother Ed Stout and wife Linda of Bristol, VA.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM Sunday until the time of the service. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 4, 2015 at the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap, VA and her granddaughter Savannah will do the Eulogy.
