Bud was a great man. My first little league baseball coach, he taught me a lot about the game, especially that having fun was more important than anything. I remember his taking the whole team to a revival at the church right next to the baseball field. He was very generous with anything he had, and treated all us kids like we were his own. Also a pillar of the church when I was a young kid, and the whole Haynes clan were my friends there. A smart guy, a very hard worker, a fun person to be around, and the first to offer his services when something needed to be done. A good christian man who is a role model for kids is a rare thing, and that's what he was. He will be missed by MANY people. God bless all of Bud's family.

Leslie, and family

Bud was a wonderful man. I have so many fond memories of him as a little boy especially with Sunday school class at Woodway. Bud was always, so nice to me throughout my life before I moved away. Have not seen him much since then. Every-time he saw you he would speak to you always. He had a heart of gold and would do anything, for anyone that needed him. I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. He touched so many lives at church that his memory will be carried on my so many young people. When we had all those functions at his house growing up was always fun. Woodway lost a good man. If there is anything you all need please let me know. My thoughts and prayers be with you always!
