Joann and I worked at Miami Valley Hospit
al in Dayton On hio for many years she was such a wonderful nurse we had many good times at work and away from work ,Joann was my bridesmaid in 1986, I was so shocked to hear of her passing we had just spoke on Facebook several days prior , Leslie and my daughter Morgan spent time together when they were little celebrating birthdays and going to the zoo . Was sad when she left Dayton Ohio to go back home .This is a very difficult time for Danny ,Leslie and the rest of the family.RIP. My friend till we meet again. Prayers and hugs to all .

Eileen and family,
I was so saddened to learn of Joanna's passing. In the short time that I got to know her through my mom and Chris, she was a wonderful lady and friend. My heart aches for all of you. I pray for strength, peace, and comfort in the days ahead. Heaven gained another angel.

I didn't know Joanna well, but I worked with her daughter, Leslie and worked with Leslie's uncle Kenny Davis. I also, am honored that she chose me to be one of her facebook friends and God Bless this family during their difficult time, and RIP Joanna Owens. Heaven gained an angel.
