Jonathan Gilbert

Jonathan Gilbert age 55 of the Stone Creek Community in Pennington Gap, VA was born in Lee County, VA on Thursday, June 25, 1959 and passed away Friday, June 5, 2015 at his home. Jonathan had worked as a mechanic. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Lora Gilbert and sisters Teresa Chadwell and Lynn Watson. Jonathan is survived by his wife Lisa Gilbert of the home, thirteen grandchildren and Jayden and Kaiden Wheeler of the home, three brothers Wendell Gilbert of Pennington Gap, VA, Tim Gilbert of Duffield, VA, Ron Gilbert of Jonesville, VA and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of the service on Wednesday. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap, VA with Rev. George Flanary officiating. Burial will follow at the Silver Leaf Cemetery in Rose Hill, VA. Pallbearers will be Bobby Ray Davis, Bobby Joe Davis, Berry "Pookie" Horner, Willard Davis, Rodney Crabtree, Billy Berry and Kevin Stanley.
