Juanita Harber

Juanita Harber age 85 was born Friday, June 6, 1930 in Lee County, VA and passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016 at the Norton Healthcare Pavilion in Louisville, KY.  She had been a former resident of Lee County, VA.  She retired from the Lee County Community Hospital as a Supervisor in the Dietary Department and was a member of the Beech Ridge Baptist Church in Bagdad, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Harber, a son Terry Bailey, five brothers and sisters. Juanita is survived by two sons Danny Bailey and wife, Lisa of Jonesville, VA and Eddie Bailey of the Stone Creek Community, three daughters Janice Ragan and husband, Mike of Wilsonville, AL, Judy Adkins of Bagdad, KY and Ebbie Julian and husband,  Mac of Yorktown, VA.  She is also survived by nine grandchildren Anthony, Benjamin, Jonathan, Justin, Adam, Allan, Ashley, Amanda and Adreanne, two brothers Troy Parsons of Jonesville, VA, Jackie Parsons and wife Wilma of Mt. Carmel, TN and one sister Doris Barnette and partner, Millard Bruner of Ocoonita, VA. Also one daughter-in-law, Cathy Bailey of Dryden, VA.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Sunday, May 1, 2016 at the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap, VA with Paul Davis, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM Sunday until the time of the service. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, May 2, 2016 at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 9:00 AM Monday to go to the cemetery.
