Robert R. Robbins age 73 of Pennington Gap, VA was born in Lee County, VA on Wednesday, August 6, 1941 and passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2015 at the Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, VA. He had been an electrician, carpenter and was of the Methodist Faith. Robert had served in the US Army during the Korean War as Military Police.He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Erma Robbins, a brother Lee Woodard and sisters Jo Lawson and Wanda Ault.Robert is survived by his wife Willie Jo Robbins of the home, two sons Robert Ryan Robbins and wife, Heather of Jonesville, VA and Ramey Reid Robbins of the home. He is also survived by a granddaughter Kaylan Amre Rain Robbins of Pennington Gap, VA and a sister Velma McFarland of Keokee, VA.
