Sadie Carol Miles age 62 of Wallens Creek, Duffield, VA was born Friday, July 10, 1953 in Laurenburg, NC and went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 13, 2016 at her home. She was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed reading the Bible and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Margaret Lindsey, a brother Alfred Lindsey and an infant grandson. Sadie is survived by her husband of forty years Harold Eugene Miles of the home, one son Christopher Eugene Miles and wife, Tasha of Wallens Creek, VA, two daughters Heather Margaret Miles Smith of Coeburn, VA and Beverly Juanita Miles Davis of LaFollette, TN, grandchildren Bethany Carol Lawson, Trey Dale Davis, twins Sean Scott and Aidan Harold Davis, her “adopted” children Ryan Heath Cheek of Texas and Renee Garrett Williams of Pennington Gap. She is also survived by two brothers Charles Lindsey and wife, Edie of Lumberton, NC and Boyd Lindsey of Pembroke, NC, three sisters Judy Stevens and husband, Craig, Ellen Lindsey, Phyllis Britt and husband, Donnie all of Rowland, NC and special friends James Talley and Tommy Hatfield. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM Friday, June 17, 2016, with Paul Davis, Jr. officiating at the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap, VA. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until the time of service on Friday.
